Where has the time gone?

   The time has really seemed to have slipped away.  I don't blog I use to.  I forget that I even have a blog most days.  I'm going to try to do some updating here..... We've been in our house for a little over a year now.  It's been pretty nice so far.  We've done a lot of updating mostly to the outside as of right now.  Totally redid the landscaping.  Put in some trees, lots of flowers and a deck.  We haven't had a chance to replace the shed yet, but will hopefully soon.  We got our garden finished and the plants are doing pretty good for a first year.  We put in a small fish pond with a fountain.  We have a ton of new baby fish this summer.  We went ahead and got a pool.  Nothing fancy, but it does the trick on hot days.  April is doing really good in it. April has her swing set. 
   As far as the inside goes, we moved things around in the kitchen, and redid some things in the bathroom.  That's about it.  We haven't really decided what the final plan will be.  If we decide to build on, then we don't want to waste the money of redoing things now, to have to re do them again in the future.  There are so many more things that need to be done to the house but for now it's going pretty well.  We've made pretty good friends with the neighbors.  April loves them.  These are just a few pictures.  The deck has a fence on it and has a pergola over it. 

   It's been a lot of hard work trying the get the outside looking refreshed.  Jason has done most of it. The picture of the garden doesn't have the fence on it.  I did the garden myself while Jason did the fence. 
 

   I'm almost finished with school.   I have one more course to take and then my associates will be done.  I have not decided yet if I'm going for my bachelors.  I would like to just be done with school for awhile. 
Jason and I have been together for about 7 years now.  The time really has gotten away from me.  The past 7 years have gone by very quickly.  Looking back there have been a lot of events that have gone on in our lives.  Car accidents, April getting injured, and others.  Moving around.  Family drama.  My sister getting married, loosing a friend to cancer and other deaths, finding out that my childhood pastor has cancer.  So many events. Making job changes and loosing friends and gaining new ones.
    The emotional battles are the worst.  The ones that stay around forever and haunt you.  They may never go away.   You can try hard to fight them, but sometimes they win.  At least for awhile.  It is harder when others are involved.  But anyways, my life has turned out the way that it has for a reason. 
   That is it for now.  I was hoping to have more time to blog, but April is preventing it..... so later!
