Long night

Well it's been a long night. I had some drama happen to a friend and needless to say now she's on her way home from Urgent Care. It was a choice that she made. I've been awake for several hours making phone calls and paying phone tag. I really didn't like having to make the phone call to her father telling him what she had done. It was heart breaking. I hated it. I can't feel sympathy for her. Been there done that. I don't feel it, I hated it when people showed it to me, so I can't show it. That's one of the reasons why she called me so I guess it's a good thing. But I'm tired and I'm so ready for bed. I'll update more tomorrow.

Pause Forward

Well the pause button on our lives was hit a while back it seemed. Only in certain areas. Well, come next week it is no longer on pause. That's right.... life moving forward is in effect. I can't wait. It's going to be nice. Strange, but nice. This is just the beginning though. We have a lot more things that I have to get the ball rolling on now. Day care being one of them. I actually can't wait to get her in to day care. She's hopefully going to be going to a really nice learning center that's more like a school than day care. They actually have lessons for teaching kids as young as April. Sharing, colors, numbers and your basic stuff for her age. They even work on potty training. I know we qualify to get her enrolled, it's just if they have the space for her. I've already been inside and it's very nice. They even do before and after school programs for when she gets older. I need and want to get her back in day care because it's good for her and I am hopefully going to be getting another part time job. I am actually excited to get one. It would be in the morning. I've worked two jobs before and I know it can be rough but eh oh well. I'll enjoy making the extra money. I do ok with my money but it's gets down to the line sometimes. I'm so happy that things are really looking up. I mean really looking up... it's great.

Another inch bites the dust

I measured myself tonight and I'm pretty surprised. I've lost another three inches off my body. I've lost a total of 15 inches off my body. The last time that I measured was the day after Christmas. I'm quite shocked that I've lost. I haven't been that active at work like I was in the fall. We've had a lot of puppies so I'm up and down cleaning a lot more, but the walking has gone down. I'm still happy though. I've come a long way. I've worked hard. Getting into a medium swim suit was an awesome feeling. I'm still lacking in the cardio though... I will for awhile probably well... not for too long. This summer is going to be fun...

Great weekend.

Well we picked April up today from my moms. Jason dropped her off Friday with my grandma until my mom got off work. Friday night we met up with Jeff and Amber and headed down to Maysville. We packed the atvs up Thursday night so we would be ready to head out after Amber and I got off work Friday night. Of course when I got home Friday night I got my car stuck in the snow. Not cool. Took forever to get it out. Jason had to pull me out with his truck. Then he of course drug me half way across the driveway lol.

We got into the hotel about 11pm. We would have made it there sooner but we went out to eat. Got up little after 7. Had a few pit stops to make and then headed to the atv park. We dropped the boys off and then Amber and I headed back to the hotel. We went swimming for a while and then headed out for some shopping. I can't believe that I can fit into a medium swimsuit. It's a great feeling. And while I was swimming I was actually struggling to keep my bottoms up. I could have probably gotten away with a small. They were ladies, but I couldn't get over how well they fit. Feels so good. I weighed myself again and another few pounds down. I love it. I now weigh officially less than 140. I've lost more than 30 pounds. Huge accomplishment for me. Anyways we eventually made it back to the park when we got the lunch call from the boys. The weather was awesome. They had a beautiful day for riding.

After lunch we headed to the nail salon and got our nails done. We also got a pedicure. It was so relaxing. I love my nails. It's been way too long since I had my nails done. Amber has never had her nails done so she wanted me to go with her. I got some shirts and a new pair of tennies. I love them. They are so comfy. We had so much fun this weekend. After we picked the boys up we headed back to the hotel so that we could get changed and get ready for dinner. We ate at Tumbleweed. It was good. I haven't been there in several years. Yummy. It was strange sitting in a restaurant with smoking. Gotten so used to Ohio with no smoking. We had fun. We headed home pretty much after dinner. Jeff and Amber stayed another night.

We picked up our little girl today from my moms. She had a blast. She always does. I got to see the new puppy. She is so cute. Sweet as can be.

Tomorrow I'm officially a PNC banker. I can't access my accounts which is kinda frustrating but I can get into them Monday. I think the new cards are butt ugly. I miss my pretty National City card already. They charge ten dollars for a cool one, and they aren't even that cool looking. I actually liked the breast cancer one that I had until National City pulled out of the program. Oh well. PNC does have some better things to offer with their points though.

We're hoping to have some good news by March 1st. I'm so excited. I hope it happens. It will be so sweet.... one of the best things that has happened in the past year or so. I can't wait until it gets warmer. I really am excited to start running.

Well, I'm tired and I'm ready for a shower and bed...

Almost Complete

Well, Jason got the call yesterday that my parts are in at Dodge. I'm so excited. I can't wait to pick them up. Of course it doesn't really matter because I'm not driving my car anyways right now. I drove the Explorer yesterday to work and it was the only way that I would have gotten back to work. My car would have been stuck the second I turned the corner to our driveway. Love it. Anyways, Saturday I drove my car and it's so smooth now. It feels great. My gas mileage is awesome now. It's really gone up and only one side of my car is done. I'll be driving the Explorer most likely all week to work. I'm not rally complaining. I enjoy it.

I have to find new swim suit bottoms.... We're going swimming hopefully this weekend. But mine are way too big, so I need new ones. I have to re-try my top. Last time I tried it on, it was loose but manageable. I wore this way before I got pregnant and now it's way too big :) So we'll see. Amber already got hers... I got a new pair of jeans the other day. I went to a smaller brand and non stretch so I stayed with size 9. They fit pretty good. I like them. Jason made the comment the other day how my body is changing. He said that I need to start building muscle though. Yeah that's on the to do list lol. I'm excited for this spring though... I'm hoping I can get back into my running. I found a cool arm band for my mp3 player. Music helps me work out.

So there is a church that Amber wants me to go to with her. Her and Jeff have been going for awhile and they love it. It's more modern and a today church I guess. They have areas for kids. April would have her own class where they play and do things. They get snacks. She would go there while I'm at service. They have a cafe, free wifi, and all kinds of other things. No dress code, you can wear jeans if you want. It sounds ok, we'll see. They even do movie clips to show meaning in today's world. I'm a little hesitant... I'm use to a more strict form of church so I dunno. I like the kids area idea though. Every child is assigned a number and if something happens they use your number during service so there are no names used. Just for more tight security, it's a big church. I want to check it out for sure. I want to get April out and have her meet new kids. Both Jeff and Amber's kids love it so far. We'll see.... I'm up for trying new things.

April is going to have fun this weekend I hope at her grandma's house. Every time I get her back she seems older and bigger.... strange. I miss her like crazy but we can't take her with us... that's for sure. It's way to cold to have her down there. I'm not sure if we are going to hang out at the park or what yet... But we will be swimming... Not sure which hotel we're going to yet, but I get discounts because I'm AAA so it's like 10 percent... not a whole lot but hey it's better than nothing lol. The ones that we looked at have whirl pools too.... I can't wait.....

Okay I'm running out of stuff to share....

Smooth Sailing

Well I got my money. It my account at midnight. Went out this morning and got my struts. Jason was taking my tire off and I reminded him to check my brakes and of course he said they were shot. So we went and got me new brakes. He got one new strut and one new brake set put on before I had to go to work. With just one side being done, it drives like a new car. I can't believe it how bad they were. He took it off and there was absolutely no resistance at all. Now of course instead of thinking I only needed two new tires, since he pulled the one off he could really see how bad it was, so now I'm getting 4. But, I get a discount. Then I get a free alignment which I'll need after getting the struts put on. I also stopped in at Dodge and ordered some parts for my car. Then I had to order a new freaking engine mount for my car. The rubber on one of them is cracked. By the time I'm done, I swear I'll have a new car. Oh well. I have to do what I have to do to keep it in good condition. I'm due for an oil change too.

Tomorrow I'm picking up Amber and we're going out for breakfast and then to Loveland. Pure Romance is having their warehouse sale and we wanna go check it out and see what it's like. Then we have a few other errands to run... we'll be kid free for a few hours so we're gonna run around and make the best out of it. We can do it a lot quicker when we don't have to load and unload kids....

Well morning is going to come quickly... I'm so tired.... It's going to be a long day...

So can't wait

So I checked the bank for my tax refund and they have it, just have to wait for them to transfer it to my account. I should have it by morning. I can't wait. Jason went ahead and bought my cell phone for me. So I am paying him back for it when I get my money. I am going to get my mp3 player hopefully this weekend so I can get some music on it for next weekend. Then I need to get some new pants... my 9's are just too big. Then Saturday I'm hitting the mall up in the morning before work so I can get Jason's gift. I'm so excited for next weekend. We're heading out Friday night after Amber and I get off work. We're heading out to the atv park. April is going to her grandma's house for the weekend. We're looking into a hotel room for Friday night so that the boys can be refreshed and ready to go Saturday morning. We haven't decided yet if we're staying Saturday night. I have to go pick April up Sunday evening and I think Jason has to work. We're going to hopefully have good weather. I know the boys are excited for this trip. Jason has to do a few things though to the Explorer before we can take it down there. The boys are going riding and then Amber and I are going around town and maybe do some shopping.

Last night we all went out to eat. After Jason tried to work on Amber's van for awhile, we went and picked her up from work and got the kids and met up at Applebees for dinner. Well, needless to say the van died this morning on Amber going to work. So it's getting a full work over at Volvo today. Poor van. Hopefully this fixed it. After dinner we went back to Jeff's and played band hero. Jason was rocking on the microphone. It was very amusing to watch. They were doing pretty good. We were there till almost one... I'm so tired. So it's nap time for me.

More snow???

I'm so tired of snow. I want it to go away. I hate the ice even more. I'm okay with snow, but not icy snowy stuff. I hate getting stuck in the snow in my little car... now they say we're going to get more. Yay. But Jason said that if I go out tomorrow and I can't drive my car then I get to drive the Explorer. Yay. It's supposed to drop 4-7 inches they say. As long as it doesn't get as bad as it is where my aunt is. She measured 21 inches of snow. Craziness.

I'm pretty much used to the snow though at work. It's not that bad. I'm moving around so much that I never really get cold. But when I stop moving around, then I start to feel it. But we have heaters and warm buildings so it's not really that bad. The one thing that really does suck about the winter season is the dry skin. I can't stand how dry my skin gets... especially my hands since they're in and out of water several times a day... But it's so worth it. I love my job.

I'm getting excited... the time for my car to get fixed is getting closer. Instead of getting a new cd player for my car I think I'm just going to get a mp3 player. That was one thing that I always wanted especially while walking. Jason has his, but he doesn't keep my music on his. This way I can have one with my music and he has his. This way when spring hits and I start walking again with April I can have music. My goal is to try and start running again. I'm hoping that by losing the weight that I have lost, I've helped my knees out and I can get back into it. I don't look forward to the whole training part but I've done it before and I know that I can do it again. It may take me a little longer to get back into the swing but I want to start running again. I need to get a new pair of tennies too. Mine have holes in them...

I ran into an old co worker the other day. It's a small world sometimes... she works in Milford. We worked together at PetSmart. She has a 2 year old son. I haven't seen her since I worked at the store which was a little over three years ago. We've talked though via myspace about a year ago. It's a great feeling to talk to someone who you haven't talked to in a while and they still remember things that were going on the last time you talked.. It was nice catching up. I finally found her on facebook. Of course her profile picture is a picture of her son... took me awhile to find her....

I'm excited for the weekend. Saturday hopefully if everything works out I'm going to the mall with Amber. I have to get Jason's vday gift. I'm off Sunday, but I'd rather spend the day with Jason then shopping lol. I'm not going crazy or anything, it's vday. It's something small but with meaning. I can't wait to get it.

I'm so proud of my little girl. She can finally drink out of a straw. She has always played with the straws... all of a sudden out of no where she started drinking out of them. I never really worked with her, or let her try.... she just did it one day. Actually at Chris's house when we were sitting out side when he had a fire going was the first time she drank out of one. It shocked her so bad that she spit most of it out on my leg.... but now she has the hang of it. I even got her straw cup out but I don't like the cup because it leaks if you hold it a certain way.... so I need to get her some better cups. She is doing great other wise.

Well I need to get some laundry finished and get to bed. I'm tired...

Super Bowl Madness

I'm not really into football. I could really care less who wins and who loses the big game. I just enjoy getting together with friends and eating some good food. I worked today. Before I went to work, I helped Jason put new shocks on the Explorer and the new trailer hitch. Jeff came over after I left for work. It was so cold outside. Work was pretty easy. As soon as I got home we left and went to Jeff's. He made pizza for all of us. It was really good. Jason stayed and ate, but couldn't stay too long because he had to eat but I stayed behind and hung out. Matt came in to town and brought his band hero game. That was a blast. It was more fun to make fun of each other than actually do it right I think. Amber and I sang and tried the guitar. I didn't make any attempt to try the drums. The singing is actually pretty hard on some songs. We had fun. We had a few drinks. Hopefully this weekend Amber and I can hit the mall up, I need some new pants. Plus, I gotta get Jason's v-day gift. I was going to write more, but I can barely keep my eyes open so I'll finish this in the am.

Good things

Well-been busy. Today we got the explorer. Love it. It's great having room. We can pile April and all her stuff and be comfortable. It is awesome. We went and got it today and then went over to Chris's and cleaned it up. No more truck. Jeff has it now. April has been on a roll. She has already been all over that explorer. Front to the middle to the back lol. It's cool though that we can fold the seats down and she can roll around and have room to play when it's too cold outside, like when we go places especially to Chris's. She rather stay inside and play in the car when it's cold. Goofy child.

I finally made up my mind on Jason's vday gift. The idea actually came from something that he has in his box of important things. He has some things from his dad that he cherishes and something in there gave me the idea. I'm going to get it personalized. It's actually pretty cheap cost wise. A lot cheaper than I thought. But I know he'll really like it and I hope he'll come to cherish is also. I'm also going to get something made for April. I haven't decided on what yet though. I have a poem that I wrote for her that I would like to be able to personalize something with. I have my ideas.

This month is going pretty well so far. Minus the fact that Jason lost his wallet. But I had faith that someone would turn it in and they did. Of course they took all the cash out, but they returned it. We lost a gift card that was a Christmas gift to us, but everything else was in there. The Goshen Police department found it and called Jason's work and then they called him. It was found right down the street from where he thought he lost it.

We're hoping to go riding here in a couple weeks. Hoping the weather isn't bad. We're hoping to camp out for the night and then ride the next day also. April will hopefully go to her grandma's and Amber will hopefully be kid free. Jeff has a few things to do on his ATV first and then he'll be good to go. He just got new tires the other day, but is having a problem getting the old ones off. I guess who ever put them on used a sealant and literally glued the tire to the wheel. They put on a tire machine at Volvo and couldn't get it off. Took three of them to get it off by cutting it. Took them a good half hour to 45 minutes to get one tire off. Crazy.

Well that's about it for now. I'm super tired. I've still got some laundry to put away. I'm hoping to make it to she grocery store in the morning before all this snow hits. They are of course now saying we're going to get freezing rain tonight... ugh. I can't wait for this winter to be over with.

Finally

Well, Jason got my car back in working order. We went and bought the parts yesterday. Took him awhile to do it, but he did it all by himself. He took my alternator off and the poor belt was shredded. I couldn't believe it how bad it looked. One thing down for my car. I just have to wait for my money and then I'll proceed on with getting other things fixed. I still haven't decided if I'm getting a new cd player or not. I need one for sure. But I don't know. My radio has a mind of it's own... my cd player is already messed up.. it ejects cds only when it wants too. I just haven't made up my mind yet.

I'm so excited, my work is doing a charity walk at Winton Woods in April. It's two miles. I'm so going to do it. Hopefully Amber will go with me. It's 25 bucks to register. They have prizes for people who make the most laps. I think it'll be fun. I gave in and weighed myself yesterday. I'm thrilled to see that I haven't gained. I actually lost a few more pounds. I only wanted to stop weighing myself for a while to see if I could just maintain. Looks like I did pretty well. I have lost a total of 28 pounds so far. I'm very happy. My size 9's are actually too big. I can pull them on and off with out undoing them. I'm addicted to Crystal light. I've gone through like three boxes in the past two weeks. I love it. I really like the energy one which is strawberry. It's really good. I got a new one tonight which says it helps with fitness.... we'll see. I drink lots of water with it, and it makes not want as much pop. I still drink pop, but not nearly as much as I used too. I feel like I have more energy on the days where I drink less pop. It's common sense. Plus I'm still taking the mood support pills which I really like.

The past few days have been pretty busy. Spent some time at Chris's with Jason before I had to go to work. He was working on the trailer and was going to do work on Jeff's ATV but doesn't have the right tool so he couldn't. Last night we went to Jeff's. Hung out and played some video games. Ordered some food. Had fun. Tonight though we stayed in. Been out the past few nights pretty late and April was starting to show it. Plus, I had tv shows on tonight I wanted to watch. So it's a relaxing night. Yesterday Jason spent most of the day working on my car. Went to the flea market on Sunday... and Saturday I can't remember lol.

Everything else is going well. That's about it for now...
